Question Two - How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

 

After creating my print products I posted them onto a Facebook group of my audience. I then asked them questions about the overall finished designs. The feedback I received was very positive. People said that my designs looked very professional and that it was clear from the overall style that the genre was punk. They also commented that the products were all linked to each other as they used similar colours, photographs and fonts. The use of house style has meant that to observers the advert and digipak are clearly related and also relate well to the music video. I think that if my print work was used to sell the album that it would fulfil it's purpose of creating a strong brand as well as appealing to the artist's target audience.
